How we use your Personal Information

The information you provide to us will be used byTop Workers Agency, and may also be used by its sister companies, for the purpose of assessing your suitability, qualifications and skills, not only for current work assignments/vacancies but also for assignments/vacancies which we think may be of interest to you in the future. We may also use your information to keep you informed by email, telephone and/or mail about future work opportunities and marketing communication.

If you do not wish to consent to the use of your data for any of these purposes, including if you do not wish to receive direct marketing information from Top Workers Agency, or you wish to remove your data from our database, please e-mail admin@topworkersagency.com .

Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on the website to help with the recruitment process. This information will include your name, address, e-mail address, phone numbers, work and education history, full CV and any other sensitive personal data as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998, including your responses to and the results of assessments administered through the site, plus your nationality which we are required to collect by law.
  • If we place you with our clients, we shall also request and hold copies of documentation showing your legal right to work in Cyprus (or the country in which you have chosen to work), and financial information such as bank account details. We may record and store any telephone calls you have with us for record keeping and quality control purposes. We may undertake credit references, and other lawful checks, where a recruitment client or third party requests such information.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders.
  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
  • We also collect information as a total in order to provide us with a better understanding of the users of our site as a group, but which does not contain personally identifiable information.
  • We may also use the information for direct marketing via e-mail or telephone.

Job Alerts

In the event that you only register your e-mail address with us in order to receive job alerts, your data will not be used for any other purpose other than to provide you with details of suitable vacancies which may arise from time to time, together with any relevant marketing communications pertaining to jobs and job advice.

IP addresses and cookies

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

If your computer is shared by other people, we advise that you select the ‘Don’t remember my details’ option when you sign out of your account. This will remove all details from the cookie. Where we store your Personal Data
